Flat Stanley is going to California. He will go to Hollywood. If it is raining, he will ask for an umbrella. Then he could go to the zoo. He is so skinny, that he could slip through the bars of the cages. He will go to the beach after it stops raining.

He wants to see a bunch of movie stars like Jackie Chan . He will ask for lots of autographs.

Flat Stanley in Illinois

Flat Stanley spent some time in Rockford, Illinois with my aunt Dianne. Rockford, Illinois is about 45 minutes from Chicago; home of the football team the Chicago Bears. Rockford is known for its many trees. That is why Rockford is called the “Forrest City”. While Stanley was in Rockford something really cool happened! My aunt had a baby girl on February 22nd. They named her Emma! Flat Stanley got to see and play with my new baby cousin and even I haven’t gotten to yet! They didn’t want Stanley to leave because he and Emma became buddies but they knew they had to send him back to tell me all about his time in Rockford, Illinois.
