Flat Stanley will be visiting in Houston, TX.

The weather forecast there is middle to upper 70’s all this week.

While Flat Stanley is in Houston, maybe he will go to the NASA Space Center or see

A Houston Astro baseball game.

Since the weather will be nice out I hope Flat Stanley will go the the Houston Zoo and play in the new water play area or take a spin on the Wildlife Carousel or see Indah the Orangutan.

Flat Stanley will have a fun at whatever he does in Texas!

Have fun Flat Stanley!

Flat Stanley and His Many Adventures

Flat Stanley started his adventure at the Mall of America in the Twin Cities. There he ate dinner at the Rainforest Café and shopped at only a few of the 500 stores that are located there at the mall. Flat Stanley boarded the airplane Saturday morning and headed for Irvine, California. When he got there Stanley walked down the sidewalk of stars on Hollywood and Sunset Boulevard. Throughout a week Stanley visited 6 Flags, Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, San Diego Zoo, and went sailing on the Pacific Ocean. Since the temperature was 72 degrees and sunny he really enjoyed sailing!

Stanley’s adventure was not over yet. He went to Houston, Texas next where he spent some time with my grandparent’s Dean and Johanna. The weather was great so Flat Stanley spent many nights at the pool. When night came Stanley got to dine out at really nice restaurants. While Stanley was there a huge event was taking place; the largest rodeo in the world. It takes place in the Reliant Dome in downtown Houston. Before the rodeo was a parade. Stanley loved the parade and thought all the skyscrapers were awesome! The next week they took Stanley to live stock show. He got to see huge steers called longhorns. Stanley’s favorite was the newborn calf. A few days later Stanley went to the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center. He got to see many different rockets and space vehicles. The following week my grandparents took Stanley to Galveston, Texas. There he watched the fishing boats come in with catches of shrimp, fish, and oysters. Then Stanley got to walk on the beach and collect seashells.

It was finally time for Stanley to travel home. On the way to the airport the car got a flat tire but it was a good thing because we missed several tornadoes. When they arrived back in Wisconsin they then had to drive all the way to Escanaba, Michigan where my grandparents live. Stanley will have to rest because he went on one LONG adventure!
